My honest advise is redo this without the intro. Say what you need to say in the description. If you're reaching out to die hard fans of the book. They only want to hear the song. Maybe even sing louder/ stronger. You have a good voice and the song is about defiance as-well as hopelessness. He'd rather they die together than whatever the alternative is.
