Between the sad treatment of the animal and your fine taste in music, I've learned that inbreeding is still alive and well in this world. I'd love to see a video where you throw yourself down a 50 foot razorblade and land in a pool of iodine. I want my 90 seconds back.
poor lil kitty he/she was such a trooper through all this that kitty knew you were helpin it out and it did kind of fight back but not much at all it was more like a protest against the pain but somehow the kitty knew that you were doing him/her good. How did this lil one get this abscess did it try to fuck a dog in the ass? lol
I have two cats and sometimes they fight with one another...both of them have had bites from one another, a couple have turned into minor abscess' if I can catch it early, I will often drain it myself, then use hydrogen peroxide and polysporn to treat them at home. If they develop a fever and are lithargic I will take them to the vet for treatment. My cats are in no way neglected or am I abusive to them by doing this I am just being practical...hope your kitty is feeling better now.
@RLS2512 I hear you! I mean some ppl want to say that doing this is neglectful but in my opinion it's not neglectful it's simply thrifty. I grew up on a farm and we treated a lot of our animals ourselves it had to be a serious matter for us to call the vet. This wasn't due to neglect we knew when a matter could be taken care of without the extra expense of a vet. From my observation you aren't doing anything that a vet wouldn't do for a 75 to 100 dollar charge. So kudos to you!
In a pinch, smear the hell out of the area with Polysporin (the plain one). It helps the open sore from getting infected AND the cat will lick some of it off and get the anti-biotic component into it's system. Ideally, you should go to a vet, but I had to take care of a stray when I was as dirt poor and that's what I did and it worked okay. The cat I helped is 18 years old now!
Poor baby, good job taking care of her. I suggest using the kitty burrito technique though, where you wrap up the cat in a towel with their legs pointing backwards to their rear, that way they can't get their little paws in the way. I had a cat who had major ear mite issues as a kitten, and because of the digging had ear hematologic tumors, so we had to clean them out for her. Burrito technique saved me from a LOT of scratches :)
lol I was laughing so hard when I heard the song that was playing. My cat has acne, I did take him to the vet and I'm trying the cream he gave me. It looks to be clearing up but not as quick as I'd like to. Man I couldn't do that to my boy, I'd tell the vet to.
kittens immune systems aren't that strong! That could have spread into the bone. It's not an overgrown pimple. it's serious infection. Hope you dumbasses @ least got him antibiotics. If you can't afford vet care, don't get a pet-cheap fucks.
@MsRupert100 ah the glory of idiots. if you can treat a infection the same way a vet can whats the point? alot the antibiotics vets prescribe can be bought on a childs allowance. if you know what it is and how to treat it thats not animal cruelty, thats smart. vet should only be used for something extremely serious that you cant do at home. ie WORMS! alright? the vet is always busy with animals who seriously need help, animals with broken bones and leukemia. a infection can be fixed at home.
I love how people never get upset when other people have abscesses which they don't go to the doctor for. Heaven Forbid you should try and save a few bucks and drain your cat's abscess at home. Come on, it's like an overgrown pimple! What's with all these stupid comments about how these people shouldn't own a cat? They're a lot tougher than you think. Seriously, people are freaking out about someone causing an animal a bit of hurt to help them. Fuck, get a clue.
@PeanutButterBlood Yes and no. Depends on what the infection is, and after reading through this comments, I can see there are lots of possibilities that even I hadn't thought of (and I've dealt with lots of abscesses with cats). I nearly lots a cat because I was avoiding the vet bill, and thought, eh, that's normal behavior for a cat (it was throwing up). Turned out, it was Feline Leukemia. Cat was burning up with fever and nearly died. I ended up spending way more money in the end to save him.
Pricks this video made me wish u didn't own a cat. FYI don't pop theirs pop yours cause you don't know how much it upsets people to see a kitten hurt like that. It was tearing my heart out to watch this video. GO TO HELL U SAD PRICKS AMD DIE A HORRABLE DEATH!!!!
That's an abcess you moron, ,not a zit. You shoulve taken the cat to the vet. They hurt you tool. And fancy leaving the water running to freak her out more. Fuck you're stupid.
How can you be so cruel? You are not fit to own a pet!
I hope you die a slow death from Bowel Cancer, then you can experience Pain.
I don't think you have an ounce of compassion in you. I hope you are identified from your video, and punished for causing the poor cat unnecesary pain.
Rot in Hell you arsehole, I hope your ass heals up and you explode...............
@PoorConnection Eh, I don't know if you realize you sound way more cruel and horrible than whoever made this video. Wishing bowel cancer on someone, really? And then you also have the nerve to say THEY have no compassion?
Do you hate cats? If not, why do yo tortore it then? This is something that the vet have to clean up. You must NEVER do this at hope. IF it burst at home, it is okay to take off the worst of the pus with hotwater, but you ave to go see the vet for the clean up.
Being a vet this vid is really a NO GO for me. You should never do that yourself!!! This is a very serious infection and has to be treatened with antibiotics. You don´t even use gloves, what is wrong with you?? Do you have any idea how painful that was? I´d never do that without anesthesia. And btw. the way you did it can it make even worse, by burstin´the cyst inside. I don´t know why ppl do something like that...sorry it´s making me really sick to the core...
#2..BUT--this kittys infection is in its face, it HURTS him--& the pus with this blood amt. & how hard it is to get it out tells me that it could be serious & this kitten must see a vet for treatment. The less harmful sores are the ones you sometimes see on un-neutered cats roaming the neighborhood to fight with other lotharios (sores usually on the side, by the tail, on a leg--from fighting ). Ive not seen a kitten get this kind. PLEASE, get kitty to a vet, so it can be pain-free, & healthy!
Many times a cat will get an encapsulated sore, usually from fighting with another cat. These practically break on their own--& can be cleaned with hydrogen peroxide. Soak a Q-tip in the peroxide, clean the area, & repeat using a new Q-tip each time until all looks clean. There may be a hole left--but if it's not in the face, ear, mouth, other complicated place, then it's scary-looking, but 'll heal well--& very fast if you interfere only to do a quick check & clean it if it looks dirty. SEE #2.
that poor baby WAS in pain... my gosh! Let professionals take care of those things! I love seeing abscesses drained but not if the one with the abscess is in great pain while it is draining. I hope you went to the vet...let us know?
Oh, Merde...that ain't no "little infection"!Hope to God you had the sense to take the wee tyke to the vet afterwards, cos that's one serious abscess.
are you sure the kitten doesn't have some sort of a tooth abscess? In that case the infection will sometimes come to the outer skin. Please get it to a vet ASAP before doing any more squeezing! If it is a tooth abscess.... your squeezing is causing it unfathomable pain.
