What people need to realize is we as taxpayers pay for healthcare costs REGARDLESS. Whether that be on the front (preventative) or at the end (Emergency Room). Unless we're willing to let people die in the street in front of the hospital, I would rather see a public option that costs $100 to PREVENT than $5000 to fix. Believe me, I am NOT for public healthcare, but unfortunately we need to make something happen. We pay for it either way.

We also need to stop (right now) wasteful handout programs like medicare, social security, unemployment,, etc. and lower the minimum wage to $2/hr so we can compete with China. @SgtHydra What are you talking about? My Presidential candidate picks would be Paul Ryan or Chris Christie. You might want to actually read what I wrote instead of responding to comments I didn't make. I complimented Paul Ryan, hes MY congressman, I help his campaign and meant what I said. He goes to town hall meetings, listens to his district and fights for us. How you got that I support Democrats or Obama is beyond me? By all means try and defend your comments though, I await an apology. =)

Patriot Act passed 357-66 in the House, 98-1 in the House. Iraq War Resolution: 77-23 in the Senate, 296-133 in the House. I'd call that bipartisan. Both wars continue despite Democrat control of House, Senate, and White House. Tax Hikes to the poor? You must mean the Dems' increase of tobacco taxes, because the bottom 50% of earners pay next to no income taxes and even us in the lowest tax bracket saw their rates drop from 15% to 10% under Bush. But don't let facts get in the way of a good rant

bdazzle- Republicans and Democrats are one in the same. It's not even an argument anymore. They both frequant the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission, they both supported the wars, they both expanded Government control and policing powers, they both supported the 'Stimlulus Package', give up the left vs. right bullshit. It's useless and a sign of the weak minded.
