Go Ellen!!! Too bad people are selfish and think they are better! Wish I would have been of age and lived and California so I could voted yes on prop 2 to help the animals and voted NO on prop 8 so everyone can have equal rights.

@53dumey She helps those less fortunate. People love her because she is positive and not afraid to be who she is. Obviously you don't approve of helping others! Besides Ellen doesn't want to buy peoples votes she wants to share her beliefs. I don't need sympathy and I can get married where I live. I just think it should be available everywhere instead of just certain states.

Actually anyone can get married. gays can marry, just not each other. if a Guy wants to get married let him marry a woman, society is not set up for two men or two women.

And it never should be.

@53dumey Actually 2 men or 2 women CAN get married where I live. A man should not have to marry a woman instead of a man just because you don't think it's right. Besides Ellen & Portia are gay and happily married since 2008! Society is doing fine and it's better with people like Ellen & Portia in the world. They drowned out the hate in peoples hearts.

@53dumey I shouldn't have to. If you are against gay marriage then don't marry someone of the same sex. Plain and simple. Let people be happy and be able to marry the person they fall in love with. It doesn't mean you have to support it but you need to realize everyone wants the same thing to fall in love and get married no matter gay or straight. Who are you to decide who deserves happiness?

Again your basing happiness on the ability of getting married.

One has nothing to do with the other and you know thats true.

BUT, if you were able to get married, would you want a Church Wedding ? and what would you do if the Priest or Preacher refused to perform the Wedding ?

Yes I would want a church wedding. I have a very strong Christian faith and wouldn't want to get married anywhere but a church. Then I would find a pastor who would. There are ways to find out who preform them. I don't judge them for not preforming them. I don't think either of my pastors would. Just depends on what you believe. There are plenty that do.

First of all.. your very close minded if you believe straight couples don't sometimes have a dominant female.. that's common knowledge. It's called a dynamic. Also, not all lesbian couples have a femme-butch dynamic. and Ellen isn't even that butch...hell she's not butch at all. So no do not generalize when you know nothing about lesbian couples. Femme's date femme's butch's date other butch's and also intermingle.. so there. Also, of course they would love to have sex with each other!

Portia on the other hand has long hair dresses like a girl.

@Number54TheWin I know you asked a really long time ago but she said vote yes on proposition 2 to help animals and vote no on a ban on gay marriage in California. Not sure if prop 2 passed but I know prop 8 did. :(
