Doing this piece for my solo festival, and then my Honors Recital if it passes the audition. Really love the piece and really looking forward to playing it. Will post a video of my performance :)

@pdxbrett I'm performing the piece at my solo festival on March 3rd, and if it is good enough at our district honor recital. My private percussion instructor had the piece in his collection and gave me the option of about 3-4 different solos. I liked the mood and feel of Rosebush much more than the others, So I chose that one :). The music I have is a bit different from the video, but generally the same.
This is such a fun piece. I've been looking for more tonal and accessible pieces - while I may enjoy Velocities, I've never known an audience member to want to hear blatant showing off and dissonant contemporary works. Thank you for furthering REAL music on the marimba.

This is a great piece, I am thinking about playing it for my Senior Recital as my finale piece and using the accompaniment also, great job!

Great performance. I really love the addition of the hand drums, it really makes the piece groove. You've inspired me to do something similar.
