@Magician6224 Not heard Hikakin so can't judge. With Daichi, he has a far nicer voice, but I have far stronger sounds.

@razorniels Yes and no. You don't need a mic to practice (and indeed I know people who've beatboxed for years and have never touched a mic) but if you're planning to perform it's worth practicing with one to get used to using it.

Hi, I have a request

There is this video on youtube with beardyman beatboxing:

On the video, beardyman makes three particular sounds: an air horn at 9:46, one type of scratch at 15:05, and another at 16:02.

Could you give a tutorial on how to make any of these sounds? I would be very grateful as they sound so good and you make gr8 vids :)

the scratch at 15:05 is a whistle scratch. It is very simple, you basicly put your lower lip over your lower teeth, and say something like chew unvocalized to get the general sound idea. Then you can experiment from there. There are many tutorials on it, just search whistle scratch tutorial
