I trust I'm spelling that right. Thank you for the lovely acknowledge to my grandfather. To answer the second half of your question, I have written several screenplays (following in my father's, Stuart Jerome's footsteps) and am currently doing a full-length play called "Soul-Mates", based on the lives and relationship of 1940's actors William Eythe and Lon McCallister, and yes, I have a room -- and an apt. of my own here in L.A.
Isn't that a great story, though? I met Irving Fein, along with his wife and son, several-years ago at The Farmers Market, here in L.A. It turned-out, that Warner Bros. brought Mr. Fein out-here in 1938, and he told me one of his first-friends at the studio was my grandfather! (Songwriter M.K. Jerome). I would never have known this if Irving hadn't told me that himself! By the way, another songwriter, Leo Robin who worked on "Poppy", lived in the same-condo as my grandfather in Westwood! R.J.
@bchfront Wow! M.K. Jerome was your grandfather? So, what are you doing with yoiur life? Did you get any of his genes? Do you have a room of your own?
Adolph Zukor was being honored on something-like his 90th birthday at The Hilton in Bev. Hills. They attempted to have as many of the stars associated w/Paramount, past and present, as possible. Jack Benny was one. He comes over to the honoree. "Hello, Mr. Zukor", Jack says, "rememember me, Jack Benny?" "Jack Benny!" Zukor exclaims. "Are you still around?" R.J.
I also love the way the dog sniffs that 20 dollar bill with intent. Love that doggie.

I remember the incident. Irving Fein, Benny's agent & biographer wrote of it. Mr. Fein, born 1910, is still amongst the living.
