Hey everyone, if you are having difficulty finding the right folders try this I'm running Windows Vista 64-bit and its slightly different but it worked for me After running regedit go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Wow6432Node Microsoft Office 12.0 Registration {Folder that ends in a sequence of numbers and 0000FF1CE} delete "DigitalProductID" and "ProductID" then go here for Proof.en C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en hope this helps

Cannot create the C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\OFFICE12\Office Setup Controller\Proof.en\Proof.XML file.

Make sure that the path and file name are correct.

:-( This comes up when I try to save it Admin or not.

Just save in desktop and paste on the folder. Change the name of the other file to Proof2 and put the proof ( the one you create) in the folder

If it says that you are not allowed cos y're not administrator, copy original file to the desktop, then change everything like on the vid. Name original file different and a Copy - "Proof". Then move that copy back to the folder. It will ask you for the rights, but this time you can confirm it. Should work now :P

@Cambionx That's problably because you didn't enter a serial number when you installed the program.... They're only gonna show if you entered a serial number and He said it in the beginning of the video that if you didn't enter a serial number, skip step 1 and go to step 2.....

One i change it to neverinstalled in the proof, whenever i start up ms word is says i need to purchase a licensed copy. And when the proof is set to "Alwaysinstalled" it then asks me for a 25 digit product key.

@Cambionx Ohh, I'm not sure what's wrong but, have you tried uninstalling and installing Microsoft Office again??... if you haven't tried that, try it because that helps most of the times... and then do the "NeverInstalled" again... hope it helps..

@TheNicjak dude im guessing ur on a vista or windows 7, ur problem would be the user account control.  go to the run and type msconfig. a window will pop up and select the tool tab, and select the disable uac control and push launch. you will then need to restart your computer and it should now work. you may want to turn it back on after because it does help with security.
