i guess they heard the bass standing out in heavy rhythm and likened it to korn in that way not realizing this was part of the basis of an entire sound in the 90's not at all even related to metal or "funk metal" which faith no more should more appropriately be credited anyway.

Yeah, this track showed me one of the bands I really missed out on in the 90's when I was exclusively obsessed with metal and punk. I also missed dinosaur jr and several others, but have been crate digging what I was passing up on or unable to afford in the 90's as fast as I can for like 4 years now. I am lookin' forward to hearing more of these guys.

@avitaker512 I can sort of see the Korn reference, and i really don't see it as something bad for either band. If Korn has the abilitiy to influence a band like Polvo, and them being open minded and eclectic enough to accept the influence then more power to both of them.
