@Vladut199 - D90 is better, but I'd highly suggest investing in a lens with a shallow depth of field. My favorite lens so far is the 50mm 1.8. It's also pretty cheap!
@becflorence - It was actually recorded in 720p. However, I didn't know how to use the camera editing software at the time...so it exported as a lower quality video. You can check out some of my newer videos for a higher quality test :)
@kurdish453 - I didn't apply any filters. However, I'm probably using a different lens than you are. In this video, I used a 105mm prime lens (it can be pretty expensive...but it's beautiful nonetheless).
I would suggest looking at a 50mm 1.8 lens. You can get them for pretty cheap and they have a lovely depth of field :)
The only thing that took me a while to get used to is that it is a fixed lens. (aka. you can't zoom in or out)
It was kind of annoying at first, but after I got used to it, I loved it :)
you might want to find a camera store or a friend who has other lenses that you can test before buying. Buying a lens can be quite pricey...but so worth it :)
Shoot with A wide Angle Fish eye lense U borrow that too from any of ur frnz....Then make the same situation in ur home 'n' try with fish eye...Hope,,,U'll geat a heavenly feel on tht footage in the same environment in tht video....i really loved tht footage ...its in my Pro -cybr! & conveted in to RAW 16mm.....Keep it up!
Sadly, I couldn't figure out how to export the video as HD...the picture is even amazingerer on my comp :D
and since this was just a bunch of random test shots (and it was weird having to adjust the focus every half second) I didn't actually spend time on it....haha
An 18-55 mm will definitely not have the same depth of field, but it should still look awesome :)
My best advice would be to just go out and start pushing your lens to the limits. Figure out different angles you can get, how close you can get to objects, focusing, blah blah blah.
The nice thing about your lens (as opposed to my lens) is that you will not have to constantly refocus every split second due to more depth of field.
whats this song??

The d90 only shoots 720p.
I would suggest that you use your aperture lock when shooting. Also a tripod is highly recomended.

@kosalol - pretty much! :)

The D90 does only shoot 720 footage. This is probably why your software wouldn't allow you to upscale to 1080.

@edmondm - Yep! This was originally shot in 1080...but the editing software I had at the time didn't allow me to keep the original size :(
