marcus is a sergeant in the COG (confederacy of ordered governments) and master chief is a Master Chief Petty Officer in the UNSC (united nations space command) they would have to have similar weapons, they both have an assault rifle, but chief would have to put an energy bladed saw on his AR, but marcus would have to upgrade his shot capacity on the Longshot...so it could be a pretty even fight...thats my take on it ^.^
He never needed a suit to be badass, without hes still a walking tank on steriods with speed ability's. he can even lift 300 times his weight as far as i know.
And he got alot more experience the main reason for his suit is to absorb the laser bullets of the covenant weapons.

Spartan laser is way faster and just as strong.
Besides master chief survived harder stuff, like a fall from space and a huge covernant attack.
And the sniper rifle is better then the longshot because it zooms way closer.

marcus is a sergeant in the COG (confederacy of ordered governments) and master chief is a Master Chief Petty Officer in the UNSC (united nations space command) they would have to have similar weapons, they both have an assault rifle, but chief would have to put an energy bladed saw on his AR, but marcus would have to upgrade his shot capacity on the Longshot...so it could be a pretty even fight...thats my take on it ^.^

He never needed a suit to be badass, without hes still a walking tank on steriods with speed ability's. he can even lift 300 times his weight as far as i know.
And he got alot more experience the main reason for his suit is to absorb the laser bullets of the covenant weapons.
