The standards of animation today SUCK! 95% computer generated and ugly! As a fan of Macross/Robotech that watched in on TV in 85, that would be a huge mistake. Look at how they butchered the audio in the "remastered" versions(DVD). I have to dig out my old VHS tapes to enjoy the unmolested audio tracks. If you want to see how Robotech would have looked done 3 years later ('84), search for Do You Remember Love, the animation is bar none, top notch. Kids...

@Outlander11 Theres still some animes done in that style. I agree with you that most anime are pointless with shit animation, but believe me theres still animes out there that stick to that old 85' feeling. As for me, I enjoy my dads old VHS of robotech... and i enjoy it. Also a big fan of other 80's/90's era of anime. those were the times when anime had a point.. now i look at the shit they put on now and it took a dip right into the shitter with this furry and emo shit..
