Oasis of the Seas Helicopter Take off- Labadee, Haiti 2011

Funny, someone broke thier leg at Labadee when we were on the Oasis. It happened to a girl on the zip line. I heard she didn't "lift up" in time when she came in for a landing. There was a lot of wind that day and they closed it after she broke her leg. Poor girl.

was this the 9 day new years cruise? if it was i was on that cruise, they helicopter came because someone broke there leg or something, im not sure though.

but in resturant my family and i ate at a few days into the cruise the girl beside us got a broken leg.

@Shhayla Yes it was a 9 Day cruise. But I do not remember anyone getting hurt. I do remember seeing a few camera men inside the Helicopter that circled the ship a few times then flew off somewhere else.

They were hired by Royal Caribbean International to do aerial photography over Labadee, Haiti, to include some of their ships in port.

They rode over on the Oasis of the Seas and stayed for a few days then came back on the Naviigator of the Seas.

@deadman903 Yes, he sister ship Allure is just heavier last time I checked.

@deadman903 the oasis of the seas and the allure of the seas are the biggest but allure is 5 mm bigger than the oasis.
