People are really idiotic and overly sensitive. When I was little I used to mess with my bunny like that and she lived for almost 6 years. They're just little kids and it's not like they're throwing them. A lot more gentle than some kids I've seen before.
@EwaldOthmar I agree with you. They are a lot more gentle with the bunnies than most other kids. My bunny is five years old and he's had his ears and tail pulled children a couple of times and even so, he isn't dead, he isn't traumatized and he's perfectly healthy. The only time he displays any kind of negative emotion around children is when he sees me playing with them because he gets jealous, and he sits in a corner and ignores me until I give him a treat.
