This is beautiful. Great direction using the rendering camera and just wonderful storytelling to a wide-topic-range song. I'll be looking up this guy from this point on. Oddly enough caught this video playing on a spam riddled site I wouldn't pay attention to.
Oh, and I just remembered what this abortion of music reminded me of: Evanescence's Sweet Sacrifice from The Open Door album, except that song is like a million times better. Check them out if you want to hear what real music sounds like.
lol, your comment is so out there I can't decide whether or not you're fucking with people to get a laugh or actually believe it. Evanescence? Seriously? A commercial band filled with pretty much just hired proffessionals making music for the mass media and to meet their contract... rather than for themselves.
they're not that popular in my school, people there listen to the new shit thats on the radio now like artsist that just came on the scene maybe a year or two ago. they sound decent on the radio but sound atrocious in concert. menomena's not a band that has been sucked into the big media and using their music for fame. evanescence doesn't even compare.
I mean, don't get me wrong... I have nothing against bands that go commercial... I wish all the wealth and success I can onto these guys. However, bands like evanescence? I bet they piece their songs together three seconds at a time w/ pro tools. I'm also pretty positive they don't write all their own music... which is atrocious to me.
yes some comercial bands are great but i'm not a fan of most. when an artist can write, record and sing their own songs (and sound ok) that is a true artist.

this sucks. Menomena have redefined what it means to be trite and the video is so amateurish as to be laughable. I'm surprised this no-name band didn't elect to spare themselves the imminent ridicule that results from being so miserably mediocre. Okkoto, you're an idiot.

fawazr... I respect everyone's right to like whatever music they want. If you like pepsi commercial bands that buy their lyrics from contract writers, power to you. On the other hand, why revisit the pages of music you don't like? I'm comfortable with my taste in music... SOOOOO much so that I don't need to go to music pages I dislike and bash. That's why they have the "back" button. It's easy to be a critic.

I don't know why but I find this pretty sick...Like maybe I wouldn't like this song at all if I had seen this first.
I liked the Rotten Hell video much much more.
