No. Because when people are trying to make a difference in such a small minded world; Where any differences from the decided 'norm' of humanity are shunned and/or rejected from society. There is an obligation within that community to speak out and stand up for what is right.

If those who are heterosexual are allowed to live their lives and be able to fall in love, then homosexual couples should too. You're seriously one of the bravest people for standing in front of your peers and making this speech. You're an inspiration and to every other LGBTQ person struggling with their identity and other problems, being internal or external. Because of this I've become more accepting of my sexual identity, more than ever and I'm no longer afraid of what others think or say about me.

I am totally for what she said, people should not be shunned just because they are different from what others may call the norm. If those who are heterosexual are allowed to live their lives and be able to fall in love, then homosexual couples should too. And I am all for gay marriage, it may be different, but isn't almost evrything in the world is. If nothing was different, then the world wouldn't be what it is today.

I think that people shouldn't discriminate, based on differences. People who want to run other people's lives should just worry about their own. In my opinion I think Gay Marriage IS OK. And we shouldn't deny anyone their right to marriage. Every one deserves the right to be happy. And have equal rights.

@GM154 I'm a catholic and the Church teaches me that I'm supposed to love gay people even more then others, but just not say that it's ok for them to get married. I have nothing against gay people, but for some reason a TON of people think that Catholics hate gays.

That is so beautiful :'D I am so pleased to see such a brave courageous girl..I always knew I was attracted to men..took me a while to realize what was happening.. Then I felt sick and prayed to god everyday to make me straight...but now, I wouldn't change it for the world. It's a part of me that makes me different and I'm proud of that!
