I read the book and saw the film. I grew up with St. Exupery having attended his old school and agree with the previous post that the 6 minute montage is extremely moving and very much in the spirit of Antoine de Saint Exupery. De Tout Son Ame.

@TigreUruguayo "Night Flight" has been released by Warner Archive. It was screened at the Turner Classic Movie Film Festival in Hollywood on Sunday, May 1. I tried to attend, but it was completely sold out. I've talked with people who attended, and who have seen this montage posted by nemonequam. The full film is said to be lacking, and those who have seen both mentioned that this montage is better than the actual film; as it's closer to the feeling of the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry story.

I somehow didn't realize that the Barrymore brothers and Clark Gable made this film, I've never seen it, and I'm an aficionado of the work of all three. I believe Christopher Reeve remade it generations later and I have seen that.. I'd love to experience this one. John Barrymore received top billing over Gable, with Helen Hayes as leading lady and, believe it or not, Myrna Loy's in it as well. I feel like I've plunged into an alternate universe when I encounter something like this.

Antoine de Saint-Exupéry to, moim zdaniem, jeden z największych i najpiękniejszych ludzi, którzy odcisnęli swój ślad na tym świecie. To Kolos także literacki, ciągle zbyt mało doceniany. . Trudno Go nazwać pisarzem - bo On jest kimś więcej. Jego literatura to wielka księga życia, ducha, poezji kultury - tej najgłębszej, dosięgajacej absolutu.
