Liked how Allen told Mrs. Johnson that she's a fine figure of a woman. But yes, I liked how this episode didn't sugar coat the ugliness of divorce and parting ways b/c it does happen in families and the kids end up paying for it.
Man, I feel sorry for Punky and Allen, Saying goodbye to a childhood friend is really really hard, I remember doing this when my best friend moved away, and I'd known her my whole life. Luckily we're older now and can keep in touch! But I remember watching the re-run of this years ago and thinking "I hope that never happens to me"
I knew Allen. He lived on my street. I had a crush on him when we were little. I remember how his mom used to take him all the time to Hollywood to find him work as an actor.
I'm a man and not ashamed to say that I am crying bigtime right now. My mom, my 2 brothers and I moved from place to place alot. I hated it. I went to 5 different schools in 5 years. This show brings back good memories but, at the same time takes me back to a time in my chilhood I wish I could fix.
oh yeah, I remember that particular episode, she wouldn't go anywhere on a certain day of the month, and the reason being is it was because it was the day her mom and dad died.
Hahaha Brandon! i don't want this pie either! they trained that dog well.
And so sad about Allen I loved that kid.
He made me cry when he couldn't save Cheries life.

I sort of wonder if Punky was Allen's girlfriend, or if Allen was Punky's boyfriend.
happy7117 2 years ago
They are just friends. Nothing more.
tarabuff 2 years ago
Why'd they write Allen out? I thought it was cool Punky had at least one guy buddy.

Dammit, Allen, spit it out! Tell Punky how you really feel!
Cute how Brandon went and gave him one last look.

It is so weird that Casey Ellison is now a boom operator and best boy in movies..Anyone else heard that about the one who played Allen later in life?
