I didn't say anything about the quality of the other players. I already said he was a smart player, and it is my opinion.  But if I can't fly to USA to compete in tournaments then I guess my opinion isn't worth shit? And if you want to talk match ups, then why didn't two use SubZero against green lantern? Flash doesn't favour in a GL fight, but sub will. He can play what ever way he wants, and I don't have to like it. So don't try that "in tournament click" stuff with me.

@SuperAwes0me77 You must be new to the tournament scene. Random select and low tier side tourneys are never anything to compare when it comes to the real deal. I hear REo used Nightwolf in the NEC UMK3 tourney(IIRC, tiers he isn't even top 5) and placed top 3 in the biggest UMK3 tourney to date. I'm not trying to defend the guy, but I'm not sure why you're trying to discredit him for using The Flash. From when I played MKvsDC, Green Lantern and Shao Kahn were far worse.

Yea, i played. I did well. I made it to the finals, but then lost to REO. I played Tom the night before and did good. Me Tom and REO all have mutual respect for each other as players. That was a big part of us bonding, especially me and Tom.. Both really cool guys who deserved to be in the Grand Finals.

I felt so sorry for REO (and this is coming from a GL player, and Flash hater) as he was clearly the better player, getting raped by breaker abuse - Brady waiting for REO to attack whilst he built up his rage bar spamming projectiles was absolutely pathetic as REO knew he'd be screwed if he got close to Brady when he had a breaker available - so he was fighting a losing battle from the start.

@valebatz Nah, man, this game is all about meter management, and both of these characters are scary with it. Everytime Brady used a breaker combo he was letting REO get more meter to take out 3/4 of his life. Everytime REO used his Rage activate combo, Brady was getting breakers to use. The meter stuff works both ways in this matchup and both of them know it. Tom said it best afterwards...you have to take the damage to get the potential damage down the road that would affect everything.

@AzuroMasurao - There's only one winner in a Flash / Lantern fight depending on the opponent and his/her mentality. REO had no choice but to rage when he got a full bar, you can't do anything to rival a defensive Lantern with a full rage bar.

I won't say what I actually think because it will only cause people to start flaming, and I don't want that - so we'll have to agree to disagree on the whole meter management thing ;-)

@valebatz REO's flash is unlike any other flash on the planet. Beating him even once is a challenge. Both Tom and REO are masters of the meter. He did what he had and pretty much the only way youll beat REOs flash is by playing this way.
