@AXEFLYER Yes it's live, I can hear Don Airey on his Fender Rhodes, I also hear the rhythm guitar playing his chords, That leaves Michael or Uli to bend that note which clearly neither do! Remember the US festival? Van Halen was " Live " too ! They were so drunk it was a disaster,The overdubs were more frequent than the actual playing. WHICH THIS WAS NOT! This is an AWESOME performance. I should not have said anything because I don't want to take a nuance away from my heroes.

@bartab420 Thats a dubbed note. I remember this because I was at this gig, with most of my band> we've covered this song soo many times and we got a chance to watch the masters at work. I remember it particularly as Uli played a clanger which was really obvious, just missed the note. So what? They guys still a legend. Most of his mistakes are still better than my playing ...;)

@bartab420 I don't think its a worthless comment at all - its a very bad dub ... if I was trying to hide a mistake like that I'd have just cut and pasted a couple of seconds of audio from somethere else - its not like they only played that bit once! That concert was held only half an hour from where I live - my band was actually supposed to be playing that day but couldn't due to illness :( But it was a bad note. One that made you go "ooooowww" ;)

@bartab420 i remember V.H. at the US festival. they were pathetic. by their 2nd song, 300,000 people were heading for the gates. SCORPIONS rocked the FUCK outta the place. They were ABSOLUTELY the class act of the day!!! Clean, tight and professional. From that day forward, I loathed V.H.

@bartab420 I was at this gig and it happened. You can bend a note with the left as well as the right hand and if u look at Roth his left fingers move up at 3:15!......it was cold and maybe there is some doctoring....but as I remember it it's just as it was!!

too bad the mix was doctored too ! Don't get me wrong. I love these 2 players to death, listened to both since the early seventies and no one can touch these guys! But look closely at 3:14 neither one is bending up the high note. Sounds like Uli's tone and it's not out of sync.Yes I'm way to fussy and shouldn't take away from a great performance and other musicians have done much , much more doctoring. Ok call me an idiot, I deserve it.
