  • Huge improvement over season 1

  • This is the ULTIMATE Fantastic Four opening. The others can't touch it.

  • 0:10

Who the hell runs like that?

  • Well, ok, so the voiceactor didn't have a German-based accent, but I can let that slide. I understand you can't always have your cake and eat it too.

  • Out of all the animated incarnations of Fantastic Four I've seen, this second season does me proud. It was true to the comic in so many ways. Most importantly, they did Doctor Doom RIGHT. Goddamn, the amount of failure involved in other attempts is staggering. Even the first season was terrible in doing him justice. Yet I was also impressed by his depiction in the Secret Wars of Spiderman TAS... even if the Dracula voice was hilarious.

  • Oh yeah the people of New York cheer The Fantastic Four but they boo poor Spider Man lol

  • i want this as music for my funeral

  • i like the first seasons intro better.

  • THIS is the opening of a modern Fantastic Four cartoon, WGH's decent...but the fault with that cartoon is that the people who wrote the script for the episodes only gave a glance to the comics literally and wrote their own views of the stories.

  • what did they do to these heroic character in the newest version.. :(

    I'm crying.. cryyyyyyying..

    gu-gu-gjuub :(

  • genial

  • When you compare this to the original opening, it becomes hard to believe they both came from the same series.

  • @dsneybuf agreed, I think the antimation was way better too, when compared too the original opening. I wish they would of done some more antimated episodes. I did like how they tied in the characters, and voices, along with the Incredible Hulk antimated series. And Iron Man's series too.

  • Johnny Storm, you will be missed

  • 0:30 Love the way Sue Richard runs!

  • This was such a better opening than the original 90s version with that craptacular song.

There, I said it, and it needed to be said.

  • did anyone else notice that some of the parts of this are recreations some of the old covers of the fantastic four

  • this was the good old days not like now cartoons look like crap

  • Not being Male Chauvinistic, but I like how they made Sue Run like Girl..

  • This animated show was the truest to the characters!

  • The show really improved with season two. The landlady in season one seemed to have been an attempt to ruin the show ala HERBIE.

  • Hmm. Can't say I prefer this over the first intro, personally. It seems a bit... mundane, by comparison.

Maybe I'm just more disco than I thought, I dunno ;)

  • I don't know, I kind of liked the one that sounded like a reworked "Chip & Dale: Rescue Rangers" theme a little bit more.

  • The gayest jog to a space shuttle ever

  • After some thought, I really enjoy this intro more than the original series intro. While, that one had a far snazzier musical theme, this intro really gets the team's legacy and prestige more accurately.

Also, gotta love this freeze frame of the lovely Mrs. Richards @ 0:38 ... the ultimate MILF ;-)

  • the Marvel Action Hour ruled!

  • I Love Marvel ♥♥

My fav comics\ series are X-Men and FF ^^

  • Much better intro then the first one.

  • This is very retro even by 90's standards, I think that's what they were aiming for.

  • nice! i love this theme.

  • I don't know about you guys, but I think the proverbial "girly" way that Sue runs at 0:30 is pretty hot. :)

  • i enjoyed this intro...the animators realized that this was the comic that started Marvel's comic rush in the 60s and should be respected as such...its not called "the World's Greatest Comic Magazine" for nothing...and season two really kept close to the source material than season one...

  • im with castlecolten marvel needs to take back all their properties and stop letting these studios butcher the movies of superheroes and the price of a fucking profit off the name of the superheroes it really is a fucking shame

  • No, the atrocity was the two recent F.F. "movies" that shredded any sense of plot, getting the story arcs NOT at all right and fucking up Doc Doom! Waited twenty-plus years to see a live action Doom, and they make him Donald Trump in crappy armor....I like this version of the F.F. cartoon, though, when they revamped it outta kiddie corner.

  • Well, there's the reboot (Which better not have any faggot from Twilight involved if the director knows what's good for his health). Evans and Cheklis were the only actors out of the first two films I felt were fitting. Everyone else who wasn't them could go fuck themselves (Cameos excluded).

  • i prefer the first one but thats just me

  • The best part is that at least two of these shots are en homage to retro comic covers.

  • Does anyone think the music here sounds irritatingly similar to the live-action FF movie made in 1994 (aka: The Worst Atrocity to Pass Itself Off as a 'Film' in Human History)?

  • Theres really something in all of these nineties Marvel TV show that is really lacking in the modern marvel animated shows. But Wolverine and the X Men is pretty good

  • @alchemiust

What about Hulk Vs? that was pretty cool !

  • @RyouuichiKun15 oh yeah i forgot about that one .

  • @alchemiust

    and the spectacular spider-man?

  • @RyouuichiKun15 and that one. that had to bee oen of the best spider- man animated shows in a long time. too bad it got canceled

  • @alchemiust

you gotta look at the bright side!!

well...... At least it lasted longer than Unlimited spider-man!

  • @RyouuichiKun15 true. besides theres going to be a new Spider-Man animated Show based on the Ultimate series. and it will inlcude cameon of other classic Marvel heroes that the Spectacular lacked

  • @alchemiust

lol? i thought there were like, ALOT of classic marvel characters in Spectacular Spidey.

'cept Carnage and molten Man i think.

  • @RyouuichiKun15 I Meant like Wolverien and Iron Man. the closest we have gotten so far to a Spider-Man team up iwht otehr heroes was in the 90 show.

  • @alchemiust

    oh?

    Ultimate iron man sucks anyway

  • Come to think of it most recently it seems as if Marvel has totally divorced Spider Man form the rest marvel mainstream in animating continuity and made him an only hero based universe.

  • Its called good animation. Animation now sucks they all look square, and a 7yo kid draw better Marvel character than the blasphemous shit that The Super Hero Squad Show is.

Spiderman TAS was the best animated series of all time as far as comicbook goes.

Alas from that I don't see muchh of a diference the plots have been adapted to today's kids but that's all, it's not a bad thing, otherwise they would not sell.

  • This along with the season two Iron Man intro were perfect for the characters. It so epic and simple.

  • @rich5248 yeah, but it was too late for save them from cancellation.

  • this and the 67 intro are my favorite not only of the FF, they are also my favs in all the marvels cartoons, well maybe for exception of the second season of ironman intro

  • The music it´s perfect for this kind of characters... sounds like an adventure movie.

  • SOOOO COOL!!!!!!!

  • both the FF and the Iron Man in the nineties upped their games for season 2...FF not as much, but for Iron Man it was a world of difference...

  • ha i love how sue runs all girly at :31. lol

  • i love this opening and the music just makes u feel they r marching for a cause to save the world u know.

  • I like the second Iron Man opening better than the first, but I definitely prefer the cheesy FF song from the first season over this one :)

  • Hell yeah! The first one I heard was the first season and I can still sing to it... One of the first songs I memorized. Anyone who think that the 2nd is better... F U.

  • Well, those of us who like the 2nd intro probably think that a heroic instrumental serves these heroes better than a cheesy lyric.

They're the FANTASTIC Four, not the Cheesy Four.

  • Though this intro omits the Fantastic. It's just (4)

  • THANK you. Good to know there's others out there who prefer this intro to the terrible singing. The visuals of this intro are better, too.

  • I have that song on my Ipod! "No need to fear they're here, just call the Four...Fantastic Four!" That song is awesome! it told u everything you needed to know about them!

"Reed Richards is elastic, Sue can fade from sight, Johnny is the human torch, and Ben just likes to fight...here comes the Four! The Fantastic Four!"

  • Yeah I just love the fact they have a phone number just like any other family heh

  • the reason thr FF4 are so fantastic is becasue they have Doctor Doom as their primary viliian, and he's like the best villian ever and my favorite personally.

  • Too bad they screwed him up in the movies BAD. Luckily they're rebooting the franchise! Maybe this time Doom won't suck.

  • there making another fan 4 movie.

    awesome.

  • I love this 2nd season intro. To this day I haven't watched the 1st season intro all the way through; I hate the sound of it so much.

  • this is probably the catchiest theme song ever lol. i love it.

  • ...well it definitely delivers better, but i miss the old catchy theme song.

  • this better than the first one

  • FRIGGIN BADASS! This intro is one of the best I've ever seen

  • ahhh..brings back the nostalgia!!

  • Sick vid!!..

  • This is the one i remember the most!! love the beat!!

  • este tema esta muy ley =D!!!!

  • Clearly the better opening theme. Best part is drumming charge at 00:27 followed by the citizens of NYC throwing confetti at the return of their champions.

    Gives me chiils.

  • this is the better fantastic four series

do you see the other series of the fantastic 4 and is whack

  • this was one of the greatest superhero cartoons of all time

  • Season 2 of the 1990s FF was better than all other FF cartoon versions to date imo, especially the 70s "Herbie" FF.

  • I really like the music in it

More heroic, and doesn't talk down to the audience by telling them the origin all the time

  • This opening sure looks better than the first one. But I liked the blue jumpsuits better.

  • I like this opening better. The strange thing is, Spider-man made a brief appearance in one episode of this show only he was on the bottom of a ledge and was all shadowy. And when he made a brief appearance in X-men they only showed his hand and his shawdow. It was like Spider-man couldn't actually be seen on any show but his own.

  • iron-man had the same kind of brief, no dialog cameo in one episode as well, pretty funny, hehe

  • Actually it was Scarlet Spider if i remember right, during the hulk episode or the final episode where doom retakes the surfer's powers.

  • Que epoca Iron Man, Spiderman, LOs 4 fantasticos y Xmen, esa era la epoca

  • Sin olvidar al Increíble Hulk y al Silver Surfer.

  • how many different fantastic 4 cartoons is there? :S

  • The 1960s version is much better, this makes the 1978 version with Herbie the Robot look good.

  • I personally think this is the perfect incarnation of the fantastic four , out of all the animated versions of them.

Plus I think the voice actors were just perfect for them too, in the 90s version too

  • What a great intro to a great cartoon.

  • One of the best cartoon intros ever! It perfectly encapsulates their nostalgia factor. The first season (I thought) was terrible, but season 2 was amazing.

  • season 2 was what got me in to the fantastic four i love the movies and this cartoon

  • eh, I liked the first one better.

  • I liked this animated series of the FF better than the current. I especially liked this series depiction of The Silver Surfer, his voice sounded as I always imagined. I loved the short-lived series of The Silver Surfer, but I always wished he sounded as he did when he came to earth in this series.

  • I liked FF opening 1 more. The themesong has more soul to it and this one is just collection of "LOOK AT ME".

  • They did a better job with this season's intro. The artwork look's way better than the previous season that aired a year before this one. Plus, they got rid of Brian Austin Green. I wasnt feeling him as the voice of the Human Torch.

  • yea they got Quinton flynn to replace him XD lol he just wasn't up for the 2nd season

  • You know what though,I was surprised when i found out that Luke Perry did the voice over for Rick Jones in the 1996 Incredible Hulk animated series. He actually portrayed Rick Jones pretty well. I think someone else from 90210 was cast in the Mtv short-lived Spiderman animated series. Yet i cant think of his name nor the character he played at the momment. Maybe you can help me out with that.

  • @flamez34 Ian Ziering. He voiced Harry Osborn.

  • This is so much better than the first intro. The show became classic in season 2. It drastically improved.

  • where do this music come from?? this one and the one of this x-men ara Fantastic

  • Not as good as the Iron Man opening (because I like rock music), but this is still kickass material. Damn shame I never got to see season 2 as a kid.

  • The best intro to a marvel comic cartoon!

  • i love thsi 1 better than the other 1

  • I really like this season of FF, and the theme music is absolutely classic. Thanks for uploading!
