wish there were more videos on this, can't wait to order mine. Will be ordering after christmas. My only issue is which to order? Are they all the same movements, just harder puzzle? Or on the harder ones do you have to use a different technique? I'm just having a tough time deciding which on to get. :0
Are you gonna make a plastic version of Silver and Gold? Because I love this kind of puzzle but its too bulky. I am very happy that you guys made a plastic version!
I don't get it, is my new blue revomaze faulty? I can pull the core out in less than five seconds, none of this pulling, twisting, pushing malarky. Doesn't come all the way out though just enought to see a seven digit serial number. Do I need to send this back or what? I only just got it delivered today.
Hi Soopytwist. Your puzzle is not faulty - You are just in one of the reset traps. Just reset back to the beginning and have another go. We recommend all new users read the owner's guide and register their puzzle to get the opening instructions.
Sorry for the lack of information. We have a new webpage going onto the website to show the details.
The maze consists of twists and turns however there are reset traps when the shaft becomes easier but only guides you back to the beginning central line. The maze has walls on both sides, on one side only (next to a reset line) and in some cases no walls (bridge).
The Blue takes over 70 steps (twist, pull and pushing) the shaft to the end (one click sends you back to the beginning).
What is the whole "puzzle" from the video I just see a guy twisting the core piece. Almost as if the entire thing is based on guess work. Of course this is a misunderstanding but anyone care to explain how it works?
ThinkGeek: It features an internal labyrinth full of dead ends, traps, and one way paths you need to navigate to remove the metal core and solve the puzzle.
You need dexterity to manipulate the Revomaze as well as brain power to ferret out the correct path in the labyrinth. One wrong move and you're forced to start from the beginning, but you're always aware of whether you are making progress towards the solution.
Hi I just ordered one of these (the blue one) I was wondering, what was the little piece that fell out when the core was removed? Is it some kind of bearing, and how hard is it to put back in? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Cant wait to get mine!!
Hi there. There are two pins in the ReVoMaze. One holds the the middle core inside the silver shaft (this is where your certificate of ownership is locked away). The other is the pin that goes around the maze itself. Once registered, you'll receive full instructions on how to get it back together - dont worry, its easy.
You'll be doing it alot to try open it faster and faster!
apparently "hand crafted", must take a while to make i guess. im only going off what i think i saw on thinkgeek dot come so i could very well be wrong
That was pretty amazing. I need to order mine. I loved the Isis and Ramisis, and I think I would like to get some of these until the KuKu or ISIS III come out. This really looks like a great puzzle and everyone on the forums who has one loves it.
I have a Red Revomaze Extreme. To what metal color Revomaze does it correspond?

The plastic Red is a new design special to the Plastic only. The metal RED will be a hand made ultra hard version limited to just 20!

The Red plastic is up there with the Silver. The Silver and Gold have moving internal parts so will not be reproduced in plastic.
