@SmartZX Not exactly russians anthem russian anthem starts wtih the POCCNR which is pronounced Rossiya. This anthem starts with Soyuz, which means union or in this cae Unbreakable union of freedom republics.

I'm from Canada and even though we lost, I love hearing the National Anthem. Since Canada and Russia are the only rivalry in hockey (Not USA-Canada like people want), this anthem rocks!

Still hurts losing in Canada for first time in IIHF and having a commanding lead, but the Russian Anthem helped once again. XD

And Ovechkins missing tooth :P

To the Canada haters, everyone hates team countries that excel in sports, it's really sad people are so mean. That's life I guess.

From a Canadian...congratulations from a fan of Canadian and Russian hockey. Your team was very clearly the better team this game because you overcame a 2 goal deficit not once but TWICE in the game. It is good for the sport when other teams win, not just Canada. No shame in losing to this Russian team, with Ovechkin, Fedorov, Kovalchuk, etc. Nice choice of the old Soviet anthem too!!

As a Canadian I must commend Russia on a well-deserved victory. Although I was disappointed that we lost, Russia was due for a championship.

As for those who now want to trashtalk against Canadian hockey...of the past 10 seniors mens events Canada has been to the final seven times and has won 5 golds. No one comes close to that.

Sweden is a small nation and won the first Olympic gold and World champs in 2006 ever. And we've been in the semi-final every year since the late 80's. Canada is bigger and has more sponsors, but we DO come close to that, comparable resources and inhabitants.

Гимн СССР более торжественный и величественный. Я слышал что из для современного гимна специально убрали некоторые ноты,чтоб гимн звучал не так величественно и более мягко.Это на слух сразу заметно. Пусть играет гимн супердержавы а не жалкого осколка от нее.Молодец что смонтировал с советским гимном.Намек понятен. Россия возвращает величие и с ней появится новый СССР, новая обновленная супердержава. Слава Сильной России.
