The games will be exactly the same, unless Australia decides to censor them (a la L4D2) or whatever. Both the format and content are the same, except in the case of censoring.

i wish they would Finish Sonic X-treme, make Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (using the old school Sonic character designs), make an HD remix collection with Sonic the Hedgehog, SegaSonic Arcade, Sonic CD Sonic 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles, Knuckles Chaotix, Ristar, and Nights Into Dreams, then have a second disc with all the old games for Mega Drive/Genesis, Master System, Game Gear, Saturn, and Arcade with ristar & nights, and a 3rd disc that contains the unedited OVA with all the art and concept art and videos

well the japanese sound track is a mix of funk, j-pop, rock, but sonic games(old school 1,cd,2,3&K) have always mixed different genres together including instrumentals, metal, hip hop, pop, techno, dance etc
