I always laughed at his excuse--why would WJZ send the weatherman/fluff story guy to do a investigative story on prostitutes and crack? If I recall, the undercover cop asked him what he wanted; he said "head"--but he later claimed he said "your head", or her story (supposed to be a newspaper term--I never heard it before or since). He must've been pretty valuable to the station if they backed that claim. :D
