This was right before the band transitioned into a New Wave/Pop band and had to contend with the likes of XTC and Squeeze.

They were already ahead of them...this track alone shows how ahead of the pack they were at the time. Angular weirdness, alien riffs gone pop...what more could one want in 1976?

Never heard this before. Like a lot of their stuff, it's a little bit outside the box. This is cool, though, and it exemplifies how creative and brilliant they were. They were ahead of their time, for sure.
