There is a special on Amazon for the complete series for 49.99! What a bargain! This was the best Sci-Fi ever produced (also liked Myster Science Theater - what ever happened to that). Bought it for myself as a b-day present and cannot wait till it comes! Then pray for a snow storm so we can stay home for days and watch it!

The 1812 sequence in Crichton Kicks basically says what Farscape is and why we love it. Nothing can overcome the sense of joy that Farscape brought.

This is (not was) such a fab show, for so many reasons. I remember watching one ep with a friend (new to it all) and went "that's the crash course in Star Trek moment" when a character realises a life-changing moment. The *entire show* was like that - there were so many rich moments, so many weeny scenes that embodied entire concepts, sci-fi or not. The whole shebang was a side-step to the right (or left) of whatever everyone else was writing.

Suffice to say - my 4 season box set is on order.

i consider it the best Sci-fi i've ever seen, funny, weird, fucked up, great aliens (Scarans) bad guys, good guys, all of it was amazing. They only had 1 more season to go as well, it sucked balls that it got cancelled...lol at 1812 at the end!

fun thought: someone that don't know what Farscape is must be very confused by all those wonderful scenes... 'Cause when you think about it, that show was so original, weird, fun, dramatic, amazing and action packed that you can't understand WHAT is Farscape if you never watched it.
