I've liked Mark for many, MANY years... probably became his biggest fan when he was in "The Presideo" movie with Sean Connery and Meg Ryan. And I have the N.C.I.S. dvds, and loved the interview with Donald Bellasario when he told how he'd received these clips to study... and knew it was Gibbs! Fantastic job blending the parts together!

If you love Mark, you must see 2 of his less-known, awesome films. Look for "Stealing Home" and "Summer School".

yeah, I'd seen "Summer School"... that was one of the movies that Don Bellesario had mentioned when Mark's name had come up for the NCIS job; Don actually didn't WANT Mark for it... because he'd prejudged Mark due to "Summer School"... and this gig had made up Don's mind!

He did an awesome job with the comedy, I thought. For what the film was (screwball High School comedy directed by Carl Reiner), Mark did really well. I especially love the pure-animal-lover in him that allowed him to feed the dog peanut butter using his fingers, then eating from them himself..all in one shot. And licking the dog's face as it was licking him at the end. If you want to see him do great, heartfelt drama, see 'Stealing Home'.

Thanks for the comments. @firefly: This is the reason Mark got hired to play Gibbs. They wanted to go with some one else, but when the producer saw this he said that IS Gibbs.
