The Cadillac is not for offroading. The Hummer is, but it sucks at it, and that's why it failed. The brand died cause it's meant to be an offroad car, but it wasn't that great, and it swallows gas. Just not a good combination. Jeeps are better.

@MaikeP71 Why would anyone want to make a car ventilated? That's what the ventilation system is for, not for gusts of wind to come in through the door joints. That just produces huge drag and massive road noise.
@dunti21 the ventilation comes in but its soft and out of the drag lines. Other than that this is a Lincoln Town Car... It rides extremely smooth and its silent when you drive it suspension is beautiful, mine still runs and starts in the cold winters instantly. And the purpose of ventilating the car is so that any harmful gases in the car can get out. For instance, carbon monoxide...
@MaikeP71 As for door joints, I've never seen this happen, only with new cars, when I shut the door to my Lincoln its like shutting the hatch on an Abrahams. It's solid. They aren't even fast they are made for cruising. And they are quality cars.

People have something like bleach or paint thinner, etc it would be nice not like die or have insane brain damage, shit happens. why do you think buildings have ventilation? It's really simple, carbon monoxide shouldn't get into the building but sometimes it does. therefore ventilation is necessary, I'm actually quite sure that any enclosed space is supposed to have ventilation if a person is to be in it....health regulations and such
@MaikeP71 A car isn't a building. The engine bay (with a hole in the exhaust letting out the gas or whatever it might have) shouldn't be in contact with the cabin. The air should go out of the car, not in.

@dunti21 thats what he says,but America didn't build their cars to hold water, they made them ventilated and there are pre existing holes designed to let water drain out of a car.... not SPECIFICALLY for that purpose but either way with that in mind it proves little, as for door leaks, america always had shitty replaceable weather stripping... Crash the Lincoln into that jag and lets see which is built stronger :)

@MaikeP71 Why would anyone want to make a car ventilated? That's what the ventilation system is for, not for gusts of wind to come in through the door joints. That just produces huge drag and massive road noise.

@dunti21 the ventilation comes in but its soft and out of the drag lines. Other than that this is a Lincoln Town Car... It rides extremely smooth and its silent when you drive it suspension is beautiful, mine still runs and starts in the cold winters instantly. And the purpose of ventilating the car is so that any harmful gases in the car can get out. For instance, carbon monoxide...

@MaikeP71 As for door joints, I've never seen this happen, only with new cars, when I shut the door to my Lincoln its like shutting the hatch on an Abrahams. It's solid. They aren't even fast they are made for cruising. And they are quality cars.

People have something like bleach or paint thinner, etc it would be nice not like die or have insane brain damage, shit happens. why do you think buildings have ventilation? It's really simple, carbon monoxide shouldn't get into the building but sometimes it does. therefore ventilation is necessary, I'm actually quite sure that any enclosed space is supposed to have ventilation if a person is to be in it....health regulations and such

@MaikeP71 A car isn't a building. The engine bay (with a hole in the exhaust letting out the gas or whatever it might have) shouldn't be in contact with the cabin. The air should go out of the car, not in.

I did drive mine accross river close to my home... couse i had no license than... :D
In winter when there was storm and snow was about 0,8 meters deep... i still could go to city, to gas station with no problem... that engine on it... i know - 5.2 is not economic. but the power, the fun with it... transmission was excellent on it aswell... and quadradrive is awesome. no need for shitty electronic. just drive!

As much as I love the American built cars, being a technician I can tell you they ALL are crap. Sorry to hurt your pride, but you simply can't compare cars from nation to nation. It's more a emotion thing and Europe has little for that, America has dozens of wins there!
