Your Artwork is BREATHTAKING! I am just starting in Maya and I hope to be generating my own Fractals soon. I think Dr. Mandelbrot would be amazed to see this. Keep up the awesome work. If you wouldn't mind doing a tutorial with a rough outline of how you create these patterns, that would be awesome! Thank you for the inspiration!
Never understood something about geometrie but now I fall in love with this amazing fractal geometrie! To me it's magical fairy , can't take my eyes out of it!!!!! Thanks a lot for this marvellous amazing cosmic world!!!
I have been studying Fractal Geometry for about four years.. this is an exciting way to present the otherwise dry component of mathematics and the LACK of randomness in nature and the Universe...superb
@aladinthemonkey yep we are getting to the point where we pretty much can see a pattern in everything no matter how random it may appear, and quite usually maths provides the solution. There is a program on Tv called The Code which explains it in a nice way
@celenduil I don't know if this topic is covered in the Tv program you mention but what does this determinism do for the question of free will? Does this mean that we're all walking down a path that is really just everyone falling into the inevitable, or does it mean that the more deterministic things become the more control it gives a person over reality because determined results of whatever action are product of a person's conscious mind?
@celenduil (Not enough space in last comment box) And what about the determined results of a person's unconscious and subconscious mind? I'm sure the events of whatever is set in motion by the threshold of the mind below a conscious level is of course not randomly determined because it is possible to see a pattern in what may appear to be absolute chaos. However, what control does a person have over that which they are not aware?
@celenduil How does a person suddenly realize that they're not really awake and that they're simply experiencing reality through a perceived consciousness that is created within the mind? And how does a person who spontaneously realizes that the whole world is just a dream begin to take control over everything. I feel like I'm babbling at this point, I'm sorry if I am but recently I feel as if I might be becoming manic. Myself feels a little hyper writing this, thoughts are rushing.
@aladinthemonkey@aladinthemonkey You are overthinking it slightly, The point being that, we have gotten to the point where we can understand the reason for some things that occur in the universe, Fractals for example helps explain excelently how some things in nature grow, a tree for example grows, then divides, then growns then divides, and if you look closely at a branch it looks pretty much like the tree does. This is how WE explain things around us, our will does not have much say in this.

Fractals freak me out. You look at one thing and zoom and zoom to infinity... now zoom all the way back.
Move a billionth of an inch from THAT starting point... and zoom in again FOREVER.
Looks like I have my day planned.

@DemonioRojoATL Is that to say that the world we live in is deterministic?
