@sieghartxD1 P4 brought back that mystery feeling so most people prefer it, and it feels more like home anyway... but I listen to rap usually or jazz so persona 3 was damn good for me... but I just cant imagine if persona 4 is better than 3 ive played them through and through and through but damn, guess P4 had some better features, but then again so did 3...lol

What is the difference between PErsona 2 Eternal Punishment and Innocent Sin?

@Chronosassassin It's a little hard to explain, but basically Eternal Punishment is a sort of 'sequel' to Innocent Sin, even though they're both Persona 2. In EP, however, the events of IS never actually happened and the characters don't know each other. IS also focuses on the male character Tatsuya, whereas EP focuses more on Maya. EP was the only one of the two to make it stateside.

@murd3rkitty The events of IS did happen BUT they happened in an alternate universe that EP was set in. The more they remember though the more the events of IS become a reality in EP's universe. Minus Hitler (Which got IS banned from America/Europe >.<...) although not the point of this post a big thank you to the translators :p

This the first Persona game that I ever played. It's a good thing I still have my PSX or PS1 or just the first Playstation. I can still play this game, but the problem is, the console won't read the cd anymore *sob* 1:08, LOVE that part!

Get a ps3, problem solved, it will play all ps1 games and upscale them. Also if you want to play the first 3 personas get a psp it has persona 1 remake, persona 2 innocent sin remake and persona 3 portalble with has a 2nd story you can play as a girl character. Or just wait for the vita as it will play all the psp games and will have Persona 4 golden edition on launch. (just announced at TGS 2 weeks ago. PS vita will hit the states early 2012

this was one of my favorite rpgs for PS1. If you like the darker types of RPGs, might want to try Shadow Hearts 1 and 2. Third one was too bright in contrast.

ive been led to believe that 1 and the 2 dualogy arent part of the 3 and 4 continuity mostly because igor was originally the servant or something of philemon, but in 3 and 4, not only does he not appear, he is never mentioned and igor does not act like he has a master. that and mythology gags, but on the otherhand, the kirijo groups origins sorta say otherwise...

they are linked together. In P3; Baofu, Tatsuya, Katsuya and Ulala appear in Who's Who on a talk show. So it takes place in the Eternal Punishment side. Then in P4, the main characters go to Gekkouko High School. So yeah, they are linked together.
