...he seemed less before around 1986 when the 1990's started and his quality of song writing went downhill and began touring.and losing Linda and modern paparazzi and etc etc etc I noticed a changed in his personality George and Ringo seem the same Paul seems comfortable with people like Brian Wilson or songwriters that are on his level. It did feel like except for G Martin ...George was beneath him George had a way of being uptight and on guard also and Ringo wasn't a threat.

Paul and George had different personalities it's complicated it's hard to tell what they are really thinking in terms of resentment... Paul not just in this but seems to be a bit uptight or on guard all the time in all kinds of situations..

The backstory is that during this phase toward the end, Paul would go off and do his own thing, not involving his mates. He'd record whole songs and do the guitar, bass, piano even drums by himself. George is calling him on it on this track, and Paul doesn't want to admit that he's the only one performing everything on the track.

yea, but george martin's point was someone else had to have been playing bass, cause, there was no overdub there, it was a live session which had paul on the keys and someone else on bass.

George was so naturally funny without trying. His humor right from the start when they landed in New York in '64 with the "I had one yesterday." after they were asked if they were going to be getting a haircut while they were here was classic.
