sounds amazing bro, do you have a custome H pipe or something liek that, could you let me know what exatcly your running other than just the stinger mufflers
thats sick nasty bro! the only v6 american muscle engine in the world that sounds good! and to top it off those tips are perfect.. not to big, not to small.
i got a buddy who has magnaflows on his 07' v6, sounds almost identicle. check it out in my page.
Hey man. I know you have a borla exhaust on it but if you could tell me what type of pipes did you use and if you have any other mods that helped it out. Just bought a 2010 Mustang V6 Premium. Want to get her sounding real nice if you know what I mean.
I like this man I'd like to put this system on my 09 mustang. I know you have borlas, but what kind of pipes did you put on here, and do you have other mods as well? Thanks bro, much props on your ride it sounds good!
I got a silver mustang v6 5 speed, the car sounds or howls like v8 from the inside, but if u roll down the windows it sounds like a v6, does ford make them like that or is after market. i bought the car used and was just wandering
that sounds sick is that a stock v6 with new exhaust or did u do anything to the engine? i might be getting a v6 but i might pay more for the 8 i am debating on the gas prices lol
@schennfan2 Go to my youtube page and click on my first video. Maybe that will help.. I've owned both the 6 and the 8. Go with the 8, the difference in gas isn't enough to go with the 6.
Hey man I just got a 2007 v6 mustang. It has stock single exhaust, but I want a new one that gives it a throaty and deep sound for under 150 if I can. If you have any advice or links to some pages please help me out! If we can install it, we will, and also how much would these cost for a single exhaust one? Thanks man =D
check out my vids... i got a friend who has an 07' mustang v6 with magnaflows and it sounds exactly like that. if you cant afford borla's, then def. do magnaflows if thats the sound your lookin for
Sounds good man. Is that the Mid muffler design? Those came out not long after I did my exhaust. I see Texas tags as well. Im live in Porter but spend most of my time in Houston. If yall live close we can do a side by side comparison lol. Like ur friends stripes.
the borlas mufflers are part#11750. Im not familiar with the exhaust set up on a Bonneville, but im pretty sure these wont fit without some type of fabrication.
hey i dont think u got borlas. it sounds straight piped cuz of the back pressure. listen to the exhaust as it revs down from 2,000 rpm...i had dual straight pipes and they sounded just the same
There could be many reasons. Bad camera quality, mufflers weren't broken in yet, but I think the main reason would be the design of the mufflers them selfs. These are not chambered mufflers there straight through. That makes a huge difference.
i have a v6 mustang and i have 40 series flowmasters and if i dont let my car sit for a couple of mins and the rpms arent 750 then when i rev it, it back fires like his. my friend has straight pipes and it back fires alot more.
@paintballa25 Yeah i agree with Chente bro. When it comes to 6 cylinder engines and smaller, pretty much always go with single chamber (glasspack/straight through muffler, etc.) exhaust instead of reflective mufflers (which is the Flowmaster design and pretty much everything else). If you go with the chambered/reflective exhausts for V6's and smaller engines, you have high risk of that mid to high RPM rasp which just sounds kinda bad. The single chambered (absorption) mufflers are your best bet.
HEY I love your exhaust... I only have single Ford Racing which is pretty much Borla... I wnat the same sound though and am in love with yours. I was going to go with your set up but Borla came out with True Dual for V6 how do you think that sounds?
well I answered ur question above but i would like to add that i went the expensive route and spent close to $1000. You can get it done cheaper if u want like around $700-800
hey, how did you do that??? can u gimme like all the details on how you did that cause i KNOW borla doesnt make duals for sixers. thanks alot daniellemberg at gmai. com
Borla actually does make duals for the 99-04 V6 Mustangs. Anyway This is what i did to the exhaust. I bought JBA stainless steel over axle pipes and H pipe (you dont have to get Stainless Steel) and connected two Borla stingers to them. I also had to cut a bit out of the bumper so the exhaust tip will fit.
They sound much better in real life. Lots of stuff can affect the sound of things..grade of camcorder, type of internet, and quality of speakers. but thanks for the props
damn it. I want Borlas so bad....

If you go for borla, your looking at a grand for the kit and I'd guess $160 for install but it's really easy so just do it yourself

Aftermarket. Ford does offer a dual exhaust kit for the V6 though.

This was done when the engine was stock. Not even aftermarket headers were installed.

@schennfan2 get an 8, not much of a difference in fuel economy honestly
