My RB2 pedal broke too. My RB1 pedal is still intact. >.> I believe it's because of the underside of the pedal was changed, and it uses a stronger spring.

Yeah its weird, my RB1 pedal lasted almost a year before it broke, and my RB2 pedal broke in about 2 months.
