thats not a glitch. It's how skilled you are, and it's a way to practice your will powers. You use will to levitate the ax and then you slam a force push down to cut the wood :)

I got that. I also got the glitch where when you go and pick up another piece of wood, you don't grab the wood. You grab the air next to the wood.

If you chop wood a whole day somehow your perspective shifts but the game doesn't register it, so the spintering wood animation for when you make contact is still appearing about 3 feet to the right of where you are. If I can do it again Ill show.

This happens when your character gets stuck twisted as if he is running against a wall. Just save and quit then your character will be back to normal.
