wait, some of this scene is the scene that we cant find in her first movie. ive seen it on this video an official trailer but i cant find it on the movie itself!! this proved that some of the scene has been cut! jerk this thing man!!
ok the first fight she acts like Bruce Lee (watch The Big Boss), second fight she acts like Jackie Chan (watch any of his movies), third fight she acts like Jet Li (watch any of his movies). the only one that I can't place is the final fight. The point was that Zen learned to fight in part by watching movies.
Muay Boran is the style used here, no mixing, and I'd recommend anyone who doesn't feel can compete with kung fu to evaluate the similarities it has with Nan Quan, with the videos by Yang Shi Wen: his "Tiger and Crane" form, his "Elementray Nan Quan" and other videos liek his Duilian fight, just type Yang Shi Wen and those titles in the search bar and look at how it works, you can also see some similarities with Lavorato sensei's shotokan, although only in upper body technique, and with San Soo
muay boran is what tony jaa uses and her style is nothing like his. his is harder and firm to the ground and hers has a lot more movement going on. She also knows taikwando and jeet kundo as you can tell if you watch the movie and read up on her so from my research i now see that she is more of a mixed martial artist.
classicblue, i'd say the style she uses is Muay Boran because of the people in charge of the fight scene choreographies, but to be true, many movements from "other" arts such as Taekwondo or Wushu kung-fu can be seen in other arts like Kalaripayattu and such, after all, the arts are universal and they are not rigid, studying muay boran movements is also having to fill the blanks of movements lost by looking at "sister" arts like copying off your classmate's homework the page you lost from yours
Tony Jaa always used the same moves if you watch carefully, if he don't make stunts or something else, it's always the same predictable (but effective and really quick) kick !
Maybe somebody of You know from where to download full uncut (director's cut) version of chocolate, which is approx. 110 min. long
