This definitely deserves a TV run. The movie was well done and absolutely gorgeous; the story nicely paced, but there was simply way too much stuff that was in the PV and yet wasn't in the actual movie. More screen-time is exactly what this needs!

Wow, I haven't seen an anime with so much "MUST SEE!" about it in a while. He, he, looking at the images I can see this is likely yet another in a long line of Alice in Wonderland evolutions. Not Alice retold, of course, but definitely inspired by, at least in part. For a story that seemed rather soft on the outside it sure has risen to be a major influence on fantasy!

Madoka was mediocre, but blown out of proportion.

Imagine Madoka as the sponge of the cake, along with other cool things this year. The filling would be the really nice things like Hellsing Ultimate VIII or Fate/Zero, and then the icing would be things like this, that weren't expected but are awesome nonetheless.

@AATTrueGGamer I do not believe Madoka to be mediocre. It is "blown out of proportion" more because people genuinely love it and feel inspired by it. And I am talking about fans in Japan -- I don't know about fans in the west. It is great that 2011 started with something like Madoka.
