Why the HELL wasn't he the lead singer?? Yes, Liam has the John Lennon-ish voice which was what got them noticed, but Noel has a better voice from a technical standpoint. He is the better singer.

On DM when he goes "Slide Awwaaaaay" for the first time: I got shivers. Just awesome Even when it was a bit raspy from 95-97 it was still good. Then his voice went to shit from smoking. While Noel's voice has aged like a fine wine, it's only gotten better with age. Long live the Master of the Universe Noel Gallagher!
