  • There are no low % moves only ones you havent trained enough

  • my favourate sub from side is triple attack used a lot by jacare he shows how to do it in a vid on here.

  • Reason this is not necessarily low % is because, even though you often wont be able to complete and get the tap, it is 100% safe in that you will not lose your position trying this, also for him to defend, other options and positions will open...

  • wow, i just noticed what happened to his hand ,left 1, to be that good and missing your fingers amazing

  • I'd love to go train with the Machados, they're all just cool as hell.

  • im so happy we just got a machado black belt in our gym. this is fuckin great. jiu jitsu is hard as hell if u stepped out for awhile

  • this isnt a low % move. You just have to drill the setups. I love it. BJJ has some sweet reverse armbars. I have always had some trouble w/ reverse armbars. But the set up is ingenious because the guys arm is pinned to his own body as a fulcrum.

  • i'd have to disagree with the low% statement. i have used this technique in tournaments recently with much success from side control. it actually sets up other submissions on fail pretty nicely to. as for the elbow tight fighters, you have to open the arms first by threatening something else. believe me it works.

  • This is not a low % move in my opinion. There are many ways to facilitate the stepover such as knee to belly or threaten one arm chokes. this is one of my fav moves. once I step over, the arm is all mine. kimura, straight arm. never got the reverse armbar though. But whatever works for you i guess.

  • A good move to know, but not something you will catch experienced people with. The bottom man will not be exposing his arms by reaching up and hugging you, he'll be keeping his elbows tight to his body if at all possible, making this much more difficult.

  • I drilled this same finish a while ago in class. I'm a little surprised to hear it being low percentage and ineffective. I'm going to try using this again and see for myself.

I have had more than one partner try collar chokes on me using the same basic 'foot over the head' setup. The only difference (besides with-gi) is that your upper arm has control of a collar.

  • this is not an effective submission, just filler for his program.

  • i agree this move is low %, its hard to get leg over head against any1 who knows anything about side control posture

  • I learned a variation with Gi. I can't get it to work to save my life. A lot harder than it looks.
