Metro 2033 is one of the few games that genuine scare me, the others being Dead Space and Amnesia the Dark Descent. Doesn't help that my guns are usually pretty shitty, the mutants are fast and can bite my face off and the good bullets are essentially money. And all the sounds and poor lighting down in the Metro tunnels!

This game would make a good movie. For me, it didnt make a good game. Waste of 60 Euros. Uninstalled in 2 hours. If you like Cryostasis you would like this. If you like Call of Priyapt, Fallout 3 or Oblivion etc etc. You will hate it perhaps as much as me. Its so linear there is no game here. The worst sort of console trash. Even the story doesnt get to shine through like it idid in cryostasis

its not fallout 3 at all. besides nuclear destruction and scavenging. this game actualy has action thats linear along with the story. free room is great dont get me wrong! i played 56 hours of fallout 3 on one save file.. but this game is a tottaly different experience. i highly recomend it

Has anybody gotten some random flashes? Like in the beginning, say you strum the guitar, there is a small flashes and some weird noise. And its not just that. Sometimes I open a door or knock on it and it does it again. Pick up a new weapon BAM again. Anybody have an idea?

@3LS0L0rzan0 HEY I FOUND OUT WHAT THE FLASHES ARE. theres a guide to find them. it tells you that you saw something. these add up to be the secret achivement of something like "see everything in the metro" a crazy achievement(but im going for it) and yeah there also moral points i guess the ending changes depending on some of these moments

you use your throwing knives to first take out the guards make sure not to crunch anything & turn off all lights then once you get close enough open hell on them with gun fire. hope this helps

This game should not be compared to Fallout. The only similarity they have is that the world got nuked and you fight humans and mutants.

If anything, compare this game to STALKER, even though STALKER is FPS RPG and this game is just FPS Horror.

In this game the storyline seems simple but the difference is that it gets upgraded during the gameplay, so u meet new characters related or not to r mission u get new objectives, and all that.. The game Kicks @ss:X I got it and u should go get it 2 :P

Read the game informer preview. It adds a great deal of depth to what is revieled in this trailer. You guys are entitled to your opinions, but as for me, I'm getting this game the day it comes out. A complete lack of HUD just adds to the realism of the survival/horror, and I can't wait.
