it's okay to splurge, it really is, enjoy the bed! and down here in the south we just say 'coke' for all sodas...it doesn't matter if it's an orange drink, dr. pepper, whatever, it's all 'coke'

I hear the tempurpedic is hot. You sweat in it alot. I've heard it from so many people thank god, because I was going to buy one. I bought the Select Comfort sleep number bed with the adjustable foundation, you can elevate the head and feet if you want. You can make the bed softer or firmer by pressing a button. I spent $4,000 on my bed. It was worth it. Beds, you should splurge on. I hope your bed doesn't suck. :)

Heck yes, it's ok that you splurged for a few reasons: 1. you work hard you should sleep hard, 2. you deserve it, 3. a bad night sleep is not a good thing, and 4. divas like us should have princess (prince) type beds, as if.

Ross -

#1 - It's OK to splurge - the fact that you saved up for the bed proves that your good with yoru money.

#2 - I also have a diet coke addiction but you have to try not to drink them Google it - there are too many "questionable" syndroms - plus it makes you gain weight.

#3 Blog Buddies - please be carefull sticking a block of foam with aluminum foil on it in someones face & asking them questions. Im jsut saying :-)

Haha Ross, pop has sodium benzoate in it, which acts as a preservative. Make sure it's less than 0.1%.

1. I'm Canadian so it only legal to say "pop" here. Soda will get you life....away from hockey and beer.

2. OF COURSE its okay you bought that bed. OMG. Its more justifiable than friggin' food almost. You spend more time sleeping than eating (some ppl do!).

im a diet pepsi lover... i too had stop for about three months and it was super hard i was drinking water and green tea and white tea... but then i said give me my damn diet pepsi.. hahaha...

most people just like the caffeine boost and sweetness of diet drinks. i think they say that the ingredient aspartame is synthetic and so the body does not do well with it. until the owners of these pop companies do interviews and answers all the questions, i won't drink any. chai tea for me.

In Canada we say "pop". I'm fairly certain I can speak for most if not all Canadians.  I've never heard "soda" north of the 49th parallel before and I've been to every province. Mainors and Bostonians definitely say "soda".

I LOVE Diet Coke! I used to be addicted to it, drinking up to 4 litres a day (um, about 1 gallon I think), until my kidneys started to shut down. Now I try to keep it to 2-3 cans a day.
