  • Holy cow, as an old accordian player, let me say this man is one of the greatest. After listening to him do not even want to take my box out of the case. Absolutely one of the best.  Fantastic chords and keyboard action. Wish I knew of him before.

  • @digitalmeister Jim was a genuine nice guy too. Back in the mid 1950s he enrolled in our high school, mid term. He really was a child prodigy; had already played with Ted Fiorito and Art VanDamme. He even show me how to play a few things on my string bass. Yeah, he was very advanced.

    There's a bronze statue of him in Cotati, California. His friends put it up; shows that his friends held him in high regard. I think he was just 55 when he died. Way too soon.
