@domenic0011 Aparrently Angus's first band Kantuckee did a demo for Evie (according to Angus youngs Wiki) so he may have done the guitar work for it

@domenic0011 I read in an accadacca bio book that it was Malcom Young who played the guitar for this song. He got called in by his brother George, formerly of the Easybeats, who co-produced this song. Supposedly Malcolm used to be quite an excellent lead guitarist too.

Essentially a tragic trilogy....boy meets girl, have child, then girl passes away in child birth. It was not until The Wrights released their version that I finally understood what Part 3 was all about. For all of that , this is still one of the more brilliant pieces of work by Harry Vanda.

shit yeeeaaaahhhh. thanks for posting. i can remember walking out of Carmens pub Miranda at about 3 in morning about 24years ago and crossing the road to a place called TK's, a small bar about 5m wide by say 15m long,with an older crowd,anyway we just made it in and they shut the doors.Out walks Stevie Wright and did Parts 1 2 and 3 to about 50 of us...I still remember it vividly,A great moment in my youth ill remember forever. Aussie Rock thru the decades is simply the best........
