man I really fuckin hate when people tend to compare bands, Rage is awesome, limp bizkit is cool and kid rock was dope at the time.. Woodstock 99 was great because of those new generation of bands that mix rap and rock. But this wasn't the best performance from rage, the band played wrong a lot of times and the crowd was just stuck. Korn was officialy the best performance of the fest.

Next, check the Bullet In The Head unofficial "garage clip", with Zack wearing a yellow "Fuct" tshirt. That's the second greatest bullet solo. Then, find someone who plays guitar and he'll tell you that THIS solo isn't really difficult. Personally - Yes, I can do better. That don't mean I'm a hater, I just dislike THIS solo.

Rage really was the best band there. they were only a handful of 'real' bands that performed at Woodstock that year, and probably the only band period that really evoked the spirit of the original Woodstock.

If you look at the performances of Limp Bizkit, Kid Rock, etc. they were mostly relying on big stage production and other gimmicks. RATM's performance here is totally stripped down, raw and tight as a drum.

I know a lot people say that run dmc and aerosmith brougth raprock into the rock scene and I agree with that, but it is ratm who made it popular and they are the ones who perfected this kind of rock genre.... I know many will disagree with me but that's my opinion and Im stickin' with it.
