You don't usually find the pimps walking the street, because they can't and won't attract customers. There's even a mainstream report here on Youtube from Diane Sawyer that quotes research from the US government which states that well over 90% of all prostitutes have a pimp.

It is in fact, an issue in most of the world - the entire world, in fact. Anyone can read the major reports issued by the UN, Amesty International and the US State Department. Search "Human Trafficking" and learn about the issue. Search for a statistic: the percentage of prostitutes who are controlled by a pimp. The pimp is invariably a slave master who beats his women. Everyone is familiar with this very common phenomenon.

It is in fact, a huge issue. The UN, Amnesty International, and the US State Department release regular reports on human trafficking, and the numbers are astronomical. Women do not voluntarily wish to be prostitutes. Typically they are tricked into it, or kidnapped.

Prostitutes are slaves and are the bulk of the human trafficking issue. If you don't think it's an issue, ask the Dutch, who had their congress slammed with a cruise missile from Hans "The Nose" Holleeder. "Two consenting adults" my ear.

It's called human trafficking. Look it up. And while your at it, ask any girl what she wants to do when she grows up - and see if you find one who says "hooker".
