These other two posters are both on the right track. Although that bar is probably a 10 or 15 lb bar, that is too light for just about anything other than maybe wrist curls. Both of those exercises only make the curls easier to do by only using half of the full range of motion. Why would you do these instead of just doing normal curls with a full range of motion? This makes absolutely no sense at all, and therefore it fulfills the stereotype of a female exercise.
What a nice cutesy bicep curl! I'll stick with my full ROM curls though, seeing as how you're been doing this for 10 years and you're only curling 2 pounds.
