For some reason, I have really been into The Producers lately, and I have searched youtube for everyone's version, and I have enjoyed this as much or more as the Lane-Broderick version, it's that good. Just tremendous for a high school, and glad to see that it's in New Jersey, too!

When I was in high school I could have only dreamt of being in something this good. The guy playing Franz is good but I hate hearing him mispronounce 'band' every time.

im not going to lie,

this is the best high school performance of the Producers i have ever seen. The only cast i've seen do this better is Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick and Brad Oscar themselves.... you all deserve to be on Broadway

I figured this was a collegiate production, not high school. Very impressive. Is the orchestra also from Summit H.S? Glad to see a NJ H.S. perform this so well....from a West Orange native.

Great! He is a Rising Star. I know something about theatre. I did about 7 musicals, 7 comedies and about 3 dramas. I graduated from Monmouth U. (college then) in 1978 with a degree in Speech and Theatre. I judged the Forensics Nationals in '78 and '91 and about 70 tourments in 20 years. The whole production looks sharp. Don't worry about a thing, kid. Those who can't do, get jobs as critics!

Thank you soooooo very much for this video. I have been trying to find out what 'Franz" says to the pianist before he starts singing and yours is the ONLY video anywhere that says it clearly enough to understand. Great performance, the best I've seen that's most like the movie. Thanks again, I'm not frustrated now.

@Patton122145 That's funny you should say that because this actor won for best Supporting Actor in the Rising Star Awards which is a huge deal. I would like to see you post a better video of you performing this song. I understand this may be your opinion but I would like to keep negativity that isn't supported by some artistic criticism off of my youtube videos. Thanks!

@spifflord308 he got that award? well then it wasnt for that song because even though he sounded ok, he didnt preform in the way that particular song should have been. he was too serious and tried too hard not to be. im sure he has talent, just not with that song.
