I have looked for this song for many many years, my dad use to have this recorded, he died 5 yrs after this came out and it reminds me so much of him, I never knew who sang it, thanks so much jorgepsousa911 for telling who sang it.

I saw Roddie Romero sing this song years ago in Rock Island, Illinois. I think I like his version better, but this ain't bad neither.

Sleepy time version of this song. Molly and the Heymakers version of this song has much more energy and enthusiasm. That's just my opinion. Check it out.

OMG...Tanya still gets me all shook up inside. Love Love Love her to death! There are the classic ladies in country like Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and Tammy Wynette BUT Tanya is and will always be the Queen of Country in my opinion. What a beautiful distinct voice. Not your average twang singer. I Love ya Tanya and thank you Saguaro Records for doing this album...Can't stop smiling. Maybe one day I will get to meet her in person.

@onearmguitarist84 Sorry - red did not play on this record. Pete Anderson (guitar player for Dwight Yoakam) produced and played the guitar on this CD.

I see her daughter Layla following in her mom's footsteps. She has the same way about her when she sings. when Layla sings she reminds me of Tanya!

K.D. Lang also covered this song on one of her early album. it would be fun to hear K.D. and Tanya sing it together. their voices would probably sound nice together.
