Ok, I'm actually rather surprised at the strong reaction caused by YC's, "JJ is the leader". I think we all need to chill down a bit, and not take his words too seriously.^^

Let's face it, JJ has always been the 'hyung' (aka 'mother' XD), and it's simply in his nature to take care of (or micromanage ^_^) the people/things around him. Plus, he has a knack for becoming the center of attention without even trying.

JJ's 'leader' role may not be official, but it wasn't forced on them either.

@JYJNiko Leaders don't need to be assigned. In fact, the best aren't. JJ acts as a leader for the group because he's the oldest/their hyung, and YC and JS had said multiple times that they always ask and receive advice from him. YC said JJ is the leader because he recognized him as one. To be recognized as a leader by your friends and peers is much more real than most of the assigned leaders out there in Kpop (or other groups).
