I love this XBMC skin because the design is so clean and thought out, but has one downfall for those of us using it on a mediacentre (say a macmini) with remote...... no 'Shutdown' option on the main menu bar!
Looks so awesome, man. I hope I'll manage to implement this on my machine (Linux or Windows, don't know yet) in a similar way. Did it take long to configure it? And, how did you manage to achieve such an accurate alignment of the movie covers? I'm using the IMDB scraper on my XBOX and most of the covers come in different heights hence some manual adjustment/download is needed.

Its nice but its a bit slow.. it lags and i have a 2.8 quad core. with hdmi. haha. I use rapier. its a lot faster. and dosent dissapoint. but i admit this skin is very lively.. in fact if it was a whole lot faster i would use it.
WOW, DAMN, HELL! This is killer, and people it's only of version .9, while you can download it. The official release will be 1.0, and even better! Nothing here not to like, best looking media center type interface I've ever seen - period. XBMC is far and away the best media center program to use on a PC. This just makes it look perfect too. With hi quality 1080p backdrops this will floor you. Saw it running on a 52" Sony XBR - I almost shat myself
You couldn't be more wrong, this was built for HTPC's and will need to be ported to Xbox. Please look this kind of stuff up before answering. You can download XBMC (the software) from there website, windows/mac/linux supported. Tomorrow you'll be able to enjoy this beautiful skin once the public beta arrives. Thanks djh! You can add shutdown to the shortcuts through the skin settings menu

XBMC for Xbox can be run as an application (like any Xbox game), or as a dashboard that appears directly when the Xbox is turned on.

hi there how did you make this screencast?
I'm running XBMC on linux and I'm having trouble capturing - tried using recordmydesktop and xvidcap but all have trouble with XBMC.

It is a Skin for the XBMC (XBOX Media Center) ... so only for Xbox and not for an HTPC
